“I create collectible artwork that embeds climate action into cultural objects.
My background in climate strategy informs the work, but the art stands independently.”
– Abhijeet Shrivastava
Born in central India, I discovered my innate passion for self-expression through the timeless medium of charcoal. This ancient, sustainable material, used for millennia to create cave paintings, captivated me as a child and continues to inspire my work today. In an age of accelerating environmental crises and unsustainable artistic practices, my art seeks to reclaim the integrity of charcoal as both a medium of beauty and a symbol of ecological harmony.
My work stands at the intersection of art and climate action. Each piece, created using eco-friendly materials such as biochar, transforms visual storytelling into a vehicle for sustainability. By marrying the tactile authenticity of hand-drawn artistry with a deep commitment to environmental consciousness, I aim to awaken reverence for our planet and inspire a collective commitment to its preservation.
Globally recognized through exhibitions, publications, and even acknowledgment from the White House, my art reflects a unique balance between aesthetic serenity and environmental activism. My Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University deepens my understanding of design and fuels my ambition to address global challenges creatively. Beyond my artistic practice, my role as a Climate Change and Sustainability Consultant allows me to integrate systemic solutions into my vision for a resilient future.

To make every artwork meaningful beyond the canvas, PlantVillage+, a Penn State founded cooperative dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers with climate-smart agriculture. Through this partnership:
When you purchase my artwork, you’re not only collecting a unique piece of creativity — you’re joining this mission.
Art becomes regeneration — your collection becomes a living proof of climate action.
Through partnership with 2Dot0 Farms, your artwork supports biochar compost projects that restore soil health, boost crop resilience, and make farming more sustainable.
📍 See the impact on the ground:
This artwork delivers two distinct forms of climate impact. First, it physically stores carbon using biochar embedded in the artwork.
Second, it supports farmers in India and Kenya by providing the, access to biochar compost and increase crop yield productivity. Additionally, there is option offset carbon offsets emissions through third party verification. These impacts are reported separately and not combined into a single claim.
Yes. we handle RFPs, NET 30/60 terms, and can work with your existing art acquisition vendors.
At this time, I do not take on commissioned pieces. My work emerges from a deeply personal and research driven creative process that cannot be replicated on demand.
Every artwork is different but approximately it’s locking away 1.5 kg of CO₂e . While that number may seem modest, this carbon has already been removed from the atmosphere, not offset, not balanced, but physically captured and stored at century-scale durability. You’re not buying a promise. You’re holding the result.
No. the carbon stored in the artwork is physical carbon storage, not a market offset. The offset contribution included with the purchase is a separate, verified offset retired on behalf of the buyer and documented independently.
The offset contribution may be referenced as a supported offset in sustainability reporting, subject to a company’s internal accounting rules. The carbon stored in the artwork should be described as carbon removal or physical carbon storage, not as an emissions offset.
Yes. buyers may increase the supported offset contribution beyond the included and align to their sustainability goals. An updated certificate is issued reflecting the selected amount.
